Several important factors affecting the oil pressure of the loader

During the working process of the loader, if the oil pressure is lower than 0.2MPa (or with the engine speed changes and rises and falls), it should be stopped immediately to find the cause, and it can continue to work until the fault is eliminated, otherwise it will cause major mechanical accidents such as burning tile and pulling cylinder. The main reasons for low oil pressure are described as follows.
(1) Insufficient oil: If the amount of oil is insufficient, it will reduce the amount of oil in the oil pump, resulting in a drop in oil pressure, and exacerbate the wear of the crankshaft and bearings, cylinder liner and piston.
(2) The engine temperature is too high: if the engine temperature is too high, it will not only accelerate the aging and deterioration of the oil, but also easily dilute the oil, resulting in a drop in oil pressure.
(3) The oil pump stops or the pump oil is insufficient: the fixed pin of the drive gear and the drive shaft of the oil pump breaks or the mating key falls off, and the pump inhales foreign matter and the pump oil gear gets stuck, which will make the oil pump stop running, and the oil pressure will also drop to 0. When the gap between the pump shaft and the bushing, the gap between the gear end face and the pump cover, the tooth side clearance or the radial clearance exceeds the allowable value due to wear, it will lead to a reduction in the amount of pump oil, resulting in a drop in oil pressure.
(4) The crankshaft and connecting rod bearing match clearance is too large: After the engine is used for a long time, the crankshaft and connecting rod bearing match clearance will gradually increase, and the oil pressure will also decrease.
(5) Oil filter blockage: when the oil can not flow due to the blockage of the oil filter, the safety valve located on the base of the oil filter is opened, and the oil will not be filtered directly into the main oil passage. If the opening pressure of the safety valve is adjusted too high, when the oil filter is blocked, the safety valve can not be opened in time, so the pressure of the oil pump increases, the internal leakage increases, and the oil supply of the main oil passage decreases, causing the oil pressure to drop.
(6) Oil return valve damage or failure: if the oil return valve spring fatigue softening or improper adjustment, the valve seat and steel ball mating surface wear or by dirt stuck and closed loosely, the amount of oil return will increase significantly, the oil pressure of the main oil passage will also decrease.
(7) Oil radiator or pipeline oil leakage: oil radiator and pipeline oil leakage, will make the oil pressure drop. If the pipeline is blocked by dirt, it will also reduce the flow of oil and decrease the oil pressure due to the increase of resistance.
(8) Oil pressure sensor failure or oil pipe blockage: If the oil pressure sensor fails, or the oil pipe from the main oil passage to the oil pressure sensor is not smooth due to dirt accumulation, the oil pressure gauge will show the oil pressure drop.
(9) Oil pan blockage: If the oil is too dirty, too sticky, it is easy to block the oil pan. When the engine is running at a low speed, the amount of oil absorbed by the oil pump is not large, the main oil passage can still establish a certain pressure, and the oil pressure will be normal; However, when the accelerator is operated at high speed, the amount of oil absorption of the oil pump will be significantly reduced due to the excessive resistance of the suction cup, which will cause the display value of the oil pressure gauge to decline.
(10) The oil grade is wrong or the quality is unqualified: different types of engines must add different oil, the same model in different seasons should also use different grades of oil. If the oil grade is not correct, the engine will increase the leakage due to the oil viscosity is too low, thus reducing the oil pressure.
(11) The set pressure of the pressure regulator is low: if the set oil pressure of the pressure regulator is low, the oil can not be effectively transported to the lubrication parts, resulting in mechanical failure. If the oil pressure is too high, it will increase fuel consumption, increase the load on the oil pump and lubrication parts, damage the oil seal and cause oil leakage.
