(1) The filter element is made of microporous filter paper, and the surface is treated. When the engine is running, air filters dust through microholes to ensure that clean air enters the cylinder. When used, a layer of dust will stick around the filter element. Do not use water or oil when cleaning to avoid oil entering the filter.

There are two common cleaning methods:

1, tapping method, remove the filter element from the shell, gently tap the filter paper end face, so that the dust falls off. Do not touch the outer surface of the filter to avoid damaging the filter.

2, blowing method, that is, compressed air blowing the air in the filter element, blowing the dust off, in order to prevent damage to the filter paper, compressed air pressure should not exceed 0.2 ~ 0.3MPa.

(2) Clean and replace the filter regularly

In use, the air filter should be cleaned regularly according to the vehicle maintenance regulations, so as not to attach too much dust on the filter, increase the intake resistance, reduce the engine power, and increase fuel consumption. If the filter element is damaged, it should be replaced in time.
